Gunner Thompson's sixth inning homerun drives in three runs as Gothenburg tops Lexington 8-0

The Memphis Grizzlies are trading two-time All-Star guard Ja Morant to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Jerami Grant and Kris Murray. The deal ends Morant’s seven-year stint with the Grizzlies, who drafted him with the second overall pick in 2019. Since being named an All-Star in 2023, Morant has played just 79 games over the last three seasons due to off-court issues and multiple injuries. The 26-year-old was suspended for eight games in March 2023 and then a further 25 games to start the 2023/24 season for brandishing firearms on Instagram Live. Despite boasting career averages of 22.4 points and 7.4 assists a game, Morant notched 19.5 points per game on a career-low 41% shooting last term.
