“I think it’s 160,000 people who rely on SNAP in Allegheny County every month,” said Heather Seiders, interim executive director of Just Harvest. “Just imagine if 160,000 people were affected by a bridge closure. We’d call that an emergency, right? Hunger at that scale deserves the same urgency.”
