The government of Jammu and Kashmir has reportedly closed 48 tourist attractions throughout the Kashmir Valley due to security concerns following a recent terror attack in Pahalgam. Popular locations like Gulmarg and Sonamarg have seen increased security, even though the tourism department has not formally confirmed the closures. Popular locations like Yusmarg, Tosamaidan, and Verinag Garden are among the closed sites.
