Vaughn joins Weiser City Council

Brown Joe Vaughn slotted seamlessly onto the Weiser City Council in March, even if it was a few months later than he had hoped. Vaughn was appointed by Mayor Herb Haun to fill the council seat that Haun vacated in order to replace former Mayor Randy Hibberd, who resigned in January due to health issues. The city council unanimously confirmed Vaughn, who ran for the job in the most recent election only to lose by just 13 votes.
