Master Sergeant Aubrey M. Smith, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, passed away peacefully at his home on Oct. 24, 2025. He was laid to rest with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery on March 12, 2026. Born Feb. 8, 1948, in Nevada, Mo., he was the son of the late Noel and Lettie Smith.
