After District Judge Gene Petty ruled in favor of former Washington County Prosecutor Delton Walker on Feb. 23, dismissing a usurpation claim filed by current Prosecutor True Pearce in April, 2025, Pearce is now asking the court’s permission to file an amended complaint. Oral arguments on the motion for the new filing will be heard in court on March 31.
