After battling PTSD for a year, 22-year-old Shirel Golan, a survivor of the Nova music festival massacre, committed suicide on her birthday. Her family blamed the state for not providing adequate support, despite their efforts. In an effort to stop further tragedies, Golan's brother vehemently accused the state of ignoring her mental health needs and called for swift action.
