The much-anticipated sequel to the legendary MMO series has finally been announced, for PC and PS5. Guild Wars 3 has been announced at Summer Game Fest. It will be playable through a beta come fall 2027. The MMORPG will be an "evolution" of the MMO genre, according to ArenaNet's CEO Colin Johanson who spoke a few words on stage.
