Vivani Medical, Inc. announced a new agreement with Novo Nordisk for the evaluation of NPM-139, Vivani's semaglutide drug implant for chronic weight management. This agreement does not include exclusivity provisions for the implant or Vivani's NanoPortalTM technology. Separately, Vivani plans to initiate a Phase 1, first-in-human study for NPM-139 in mid-2026, comparing it against Wegovy® injections.
