Marshall football: Herd's grid schedule has Appalachian State for '75' game

It sure is fitting that the Sun Belt Conference released its 2026 football schedule on Friday the 13th.Louisiana Tech was included in an impromptu Conference USA schedule release done on Thursday night despite its plans to join the SBC. The Bulldogs did not publish the C-USA schedule.With the release, the 2026 slate is finalized for Marshall.The conference will retain its division setup with the introduction of Louisiana Tech. The Thundering Herd will play South Alabama and ULM from the SBC West Division along with East Division games with James Madison, Coastal Carolina, Old Dominion, Georgia Southern, Appalachian State and Georgia State. Louisiana Tech will replace Texas State in the west.
